About
WHAT IS MDRRMO?
The collaboration between the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is geared towards fostering a resilient municipality. The goal is to empower the vulnerable and marginalized community while ensuring a responsive Local Government Unit. This involves active participation from civil society organizations to collectively mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the impacts of disasters. The MDRRMO conducts training sessions and drills within the local community, aiming to enhance their capabilities in disaster risk reduction and management. This effort seeks to strengthen their preparedness and post-disaster recovery skills, fostering the engagement and participation of all sectors and stakeholders in building a disaster-resilient municipality.
